I recently completed a subconscious test in the productivity area of life (ha! this sounds sort of genius). I took a look at an entire week of my life and what I accomplished and got done each day in that week. Some days were drastically more productive than others. What gives?! I then came to the realization that the days I made up my bed in the morning were the days I accomplished the most!
Mind boggling right?!… Well, not really. It’s simple actually
When you make up your bed in the morning, you have already accomplished something before your day has even really started! You’re giving yourself a fresh start and a clean slate. You can take on the world! It’s like a domino effect! “I’ve already done something today, might as well keep going!”
As crazy as it sounds, it’s worked for me. Try it, and tell me if it works for you. The best part is that it’s like coming home to hotel turn down service at the end of the day. Ahh the perks!
